Every year we hold our AGM in a different location as a means of representing all of our shareholders who are located around the UK. We’ve had some memorable venues. In 2016 it was held in Cambridgeshire where we visited our Ransonmoor wind farm; in 2017 we gathered at the prestigious Royal Institution, home of the Faraday Museum in London. This year we’re going further north to the City of Manchester.
Whether you’re a shareholder from London or Aberdeen, we hope you’ll join us for an engaging and informative day out.
In keeping with our sustainable values, we’ve booked one of Manchester’s leading sustainable venues - a wonderful refurbished Mill using sustainable materials and building practices. We’ve chosen the site for its excellent sustainability credentials and given its central location there are plenty of transport options to get you there.
Become a shareholder and join us this year
Our AGM is an annual event for Thrive shareholders. If you’re not a shareholder, and you’d like to be, we have monthly share auctions where you can buy Thrive shares with no minimum investment. Every single shareholder has a direct stake and say in all of our wind, solar and hydro projects around the UK, making a direct impact on climate change. Our next auction is on 28 February. If you’re unable to attend the AGM this year, we’ll also include key highlights from the event on our website shortly afterwards. Everyone will have the chance to hear about the key themes from the day and respond via email with questions. We’ll also post the questions and answers received from our shareholders from the day on the website.
