Responding to the Government’s Ten Point Plan for a green industrial revolution, Matthew Clayton, MD at Thrive Renewables, said:

“The Ten Point Plan provides confidence in the general direction of travel for businesses looking to build renewable energy infrastructure. Cleaning up transport and how we heat our homes will be a major step forward in meeting UK net zero goals and we warmly welcome ambitious plans for offshore wind. When the detail emerges in the forthcoming Energy White Paper, we hope to see more support for onshore renewables which are already delivering cheaper electricity, jobs and local benefits.”

“Climate Change is an urgent and immediate problem. We need to come together as a country to fundamentally change our relationship with energy and this plan takes some positive and important steps in that direction. We look forward to seeing the policy details the energy industry needs to make the green industrial revolution a reality.”
