Auchtygills wind farm

The Auchtygills turbine, near Strichen in Aberdeenshire, was built in 2015 at the same time as our turbine at the Clayfords site just along the road.

Avonmouth wind farm

Four wind turbines in one of the largest dockland areas in Europe, generating renewable energy directly into the national grid.

Beochlich hydro electric site

The Beochlich Burn is located on the south-east side of Loch Awe in Argyll, Scotland, recognised as one of the best areas for small scale hydro-electric generation in the country.

The five-turbine Boardinghouse wind farm in Cambridgeshire was completed in 2015 and is forecast to produce over 30 million units of green electricity every year - enough to meet the demand of over 7,000 UK homes.

Caton Moor wind farm

Thrive Renewables invested in the Caton Moor site in 2006 and immediately undertook a "repowering" exercise – replacement of the existing 10 turbines.

Chapelton wind farm

Thrive has acquired the site for a three turbine wind farm in South Ayrshire, Scotland. This project is currently in development.

Clayfords wind farm

The Clayfords turbine, near Strichen in Aberdeenshire, was built in 2015 at the same time as our turbine at the Auchtygills site just along the road.

Dunfermline wind farm

The single 1.5MW turbine at Dunfermline is one of our merchant sites – a project built in an existing industrial area and supplying power directly to a local business. Local supply for local demand! At Dunfermline we are delighted to have our turbine hosted by TechnipFMC who are an established and respected local employer.

Drumduff wind farm

Developed on the site of a disused open cast coal mine, this 6MW, three-turbine project is reclaiming land left as a legacy of fossil fuel extraction to generate clean electricity from renewable wind energy.

Eye wind farm

The 5MW project today provides power directly to the Roy Humphrey Group who own the Airfield Industrial Estate where our turbines are built, with any surplus being exported to the local grid.

Feeder Road battery storage

Thrive has completed the procurement of a 20MW battery storage project in Bristol which is in the final stages of commissioning.

Haverigg II wind farm

Our four-turbine project was built in 1998 right on the coast and adjacent to HMP Haverigg. A number of adjacent wind farms - on and off shore - are testament to the good wind resource in the area.

Loch a'Bhraoin hydro electric site

Thrive provided mezzanine funding for the construction of Loch a’Bhraoin, a 2MW hydro project in the Scottish Highlands.

March (Floods Ferry Road) wind farm

The Thrive Renewables turbine in March (Floods Ferry Road) is one of our merchant sites, supplying of one of the UK's leading potato processing facilities with clean, green electricity.

Ness Point wind farm

Ness Point, in Lowestoft is the most easterly point in England and our turbine sits right on the sea wall there, making the most of winds whipping in off the North Sea.

Ransonmoor wind farm

Thrive Renewables is a co-owner of the 5-turbine Ransonmoor wind farm, which generates enough power each year to supply the electricity needs of 6,400 UK homes.

Sigurd wind farm

Thrive Renewables operate a single wind turbine here, alongside a selection of other discrete projects, harnessing that amazing resource and exporting it to the national grid for distribution to wherever it is needed.

United Downs Deep Geothermal

The UK’s first commercial deep geothermal power plant currently under construction.

Wicken battery storage

Thrive’s first battery project, stores electricity when it is abundant during windy and sunny periods and exports it back to the grid during peak usage times.
