Arriving for the three-day exhibition at the NEC, it was brilliant to feel the buzz of live events again and see so many like-minded businesses together in the same room, sharing their insights and celebrating some of the technologies at the forefront of the clean energy transition.

Alongside the exhibition stands, Solar & Storage Live had a full agenda of talks in one of its three on-site theatres. We were pleased to host a discussion on ESG & responsible finance in the Commercial and Industrial theatre, with our MD Matthew Clayton as the moderator and joined by Thrive’s Investment Director, Monika Paplaczyk, as well as Chloe Hood, Project Developer and Community Liaison Manager at Aura Power, and Simon Nicholls, Managing Director of Olympus Power.

We discussed the different funding models available to developers when building new solar and storage projects in the UK, and how we have worked with both Aura and Olympus to add new capacity to the grid over the last 18 months.
