Thrive Renewables connects people to sustainable energy. Thanks to thousands of investors – large and small – we have funded a total of 28 renewable energy projects in the UK including wind, solar, hydro, battery storage, geothermal and tidal power generation.
Vision: We believe in a clean, smart energy system that is powered by the investment of many.
Mission: Our mission is to power the transition to a sustainable energy future by helping people meaningfully connect with clean energy products.
Our principal business areas are funding, acquisition, construction, and operation of clean energy generation projects. We have a team that works across the UK with our head office in Bristol as well as an independent board of directors.
In accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, each year Thrive Renewables aims to voluntarily publish a modern slavery and human trafficking statement outlining our activities to align with the act within our company.
Thrive Renewables’ recruitment process is designed and managed to ensure all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK. Once employed, there is a rigorous suite of policies designed to support and safeguard our employees.
Thrive Renewables often enters into contracts to procure site operations and maintenance, sustainable energy equipment and associated plant as well as goods and services from suppliers providing IT hardware, software and associated support, legal and professional services and facilities management.
Thrive Renewables is committed to taking reasonable steps to prevent slavery and human trafficking in its activities and those of its suppliers. Thrive Renewables recognises that whilst most of its suppliers are based within the UK and EU, it does on occasion use suppliers from outside these areas who may not be bound by the same rigour of legislation. We evaluate all new suppliers in accordance with Thrive Renewables’ Procurement Policy.
During 2021-2022, Thrive Renewables will undertake the following activities:
Reporting modern slavery and human trafficking
Modern slavery includes labour, sexual and criminal exploitation as well as domestic servitude.
Human trafficking is defined as facilitating the travel of another person with a view to exploitation and includes travel within a country not just across international borders.
Anyone with concern or suspicions of modern slavery or human trafficking within Thrive Renewables business or its suppliers may email the company at info@thriverenewables.co.uk
