Copeland Borough Council has approved an application from Thrive Renewables to extend the working life of our four turbine wind farm at Haverigg in Cumbria. The existing turbines now have planning permission to continue operating until 2032.
We are once again celebrating Good Money Week (24-30 October). This national campaign is run by the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association, which we are part of, and aims to grow and raise awareness of sustainable, responsible and ethical finance.

Solar trains company, Riding Sunbeams, has received its first commercial funding from Thrive Renewables and Friends Provident Foundation This will enable the team to develop community owned renewable energy projects to directly power the rail network at a commercial scale for the first time

2019 was another positive year of impact for Thrive. We generated enough clean electricity to power all the homes in Worcester, saving over 75,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions and helping to decarbonise the UK’s energy system in line with net zero ambitions.
