Thrive owns and operates multiple renewable energy projects across the country and the communities who host our projects are vitally important to us. As a responsible business, we wanted to help them during the Covid-19 pandemic.
2019 was another positive year of impact for Thrive. We generated enough clean electricity to power all the homes in Worcester, saving over 75,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions and helping to decarbonise the UK’s energy system in line with net zero ambitions.
Thrive Renewables and Clydesdale Bank have provided loans for the construction of a new 2MW hydro-electric project at Inverbroom in the Highlands of Scotland. The project is being developed by Inverbroom Hydro and Glendevon Energy.
